Friday... and escaping the swaddle...

We had a really fun day Friday as Craig was able to take the day off (well, he worked from home for a few hours Friday, but didn't have to go into the office). He really hasn't taken any time off since Sam was born - only the actual day (Aug 21) and then the day that we came home from the hospital. So we spent the afternoon walking around, up to run a bunch of errands, pick up a couple toy mirrors and other things at Babies R Us, and then down to Soho. We stopped at Craig's favorite shirt store to see their new place and say hi to the folks there. I think they were particularly impressed by Sam's own custom shirt that he was wearing:

Very cute! In the evening, we went out to dinner for our anniversary and the folks from NJ came to babysit - thank you!
Craig is off again on Monday, so it's a whole long weekend of fun!!

Sam continues to be more and more fun every day. Jonas came by to play one day and Sam entertained him on the activity mat.

In other news, Sam is still escaping from his swaddle regularly. Here are a few pictures that we have taken. Sometimes when he wakes us up in the middle of the night, I look over and part of him (usually an arm) has broken free, but I never have the brain activity to get up and find the camera and take a pictures.
This was a progression over about 15-20 minutes:

This was another day:

And one more early one:

So, it seems like we have a Harry Houdini on our hands! (Oh and yes, we actually do good, tight swaddles!)

It's a nice day, so we're going to head outside!
