So, I've been very bad at posting but it was a busy summer!! August was great with a fun visit for Sam from Grandma and Grandpa Oliver and then two weeks at the Outer Banks with a lot of family. Sam LOVED the beach!!
I will try to figure out how to post the link to the snapfish album with Sam's birthday pictures, but if you haven't seen them there (or on facebook), let me know :)
We went for Sam's one year appointment last week (he was actually 1 year 2 weeks)
Weight: 21 lbs, 4 oz (~30th%)
Height: 31 1/2 " (95%)
Our string bean!!
In terms of Sam's skills, here's a (not complete) list:
walking
running
climbs stairs
pointing and yelling at things he wants
drinking milk from sippy and straw cup
knows his family members and toys
says 'duck' (well, he did for a while and now he just taunts us and won't say it)
says 'daddy' (not 'mommy')
waves
snaps
knows the sound that a chicken makes (clucking his tongue)
raises his arms 'up' on command
knows his feet, toes, head, hair, fingers, and hands.
that's all i can think of for now...
